Greetings all. I see it has been many many months since I have posted anything. Do not let this suggest that I have not been busy. I worked the summer driving bus for our church summer camp program. Spent alot of day s at the pool. I also had a brother get married in July. It was a wonderful time. And as always I am driving school bus for the county this school year. But the best news of all is...... (drum roll)..... I am now a "granny" . In the next few posts I will have pictures of the baby. Hope everyone has had a blessed summer and is going to have a blessed holiday season to come.

Latest card creations ( and baby picture )

Below are 6 of the latest cards I made. They were done at a stamp camp at my sisters in Stafford, VA. Also in the post following the cards is an ultrasound picture of my new grandbaby.
I really like the contrast on this card. Very easy to make and it looks so elegant. But comforting and not overpowering.

This card was so fun to make. Now I need to find the perfect person to give it too....
So very simple yet so very cute. I have already given this card away. You cant see it very well, but there are circles on the white card stock. I used the cuttlebug for those

I think this is a great mans card. I love it as well. Love the colors.
I really like this card. I love the blues and browns. It was a very easy card to make. No stamping at all except the background on the cream paper.

I like the flowers on this card. My husband however told me they look like grapes.... Oh well... Sorry if they do.

Look Look Look!!! I am going to be a granny. The baby will be here around Thanksgiving. I am so very excited......

I am here Really I am.....

It has been awhile.... wow alot has happened. Lets see... School is almost over YAHOOOO!!!!!!! 9 more days of driving. Then I will be off part of the summer. I will be posting some cards that I just recently made. SO I hope to be doing a better job of keeping up with this blog.

Two Cards done 3/21/08

I made these cards yesterday. Friday March 21. I was at my sisters house in Stafford. We have to stamp when we get together.

I really like this card. Sorry about the blur. It scanned that way because of the pearl beads.

Stamp set: Baroque Motif, wonderful words
Paper: mellow moss, naturals ivory, sahara sand
ink: groovey guava, black
accessories: old olive ribbon, goovey quava double stitch ribbon, pretties set

This is a cheery card I made for a friend of mine:

I think it is a very fun card. I cant rightly remember all the colors and stamp sets and stuff

Both stamp sets are sell-a-bration sets. And of course a jumbo wheel was used. Sorry... I will look up all the information and post it later.

New Job

Ok since I posted last alot has happened. In December I received a promotion. I am now a floater 2 bus driver. This means I will be a permanent sub driver. I moved from Special Ed to a General Ed area bus driver. It has proven to be a very good move on my part. I like the change alot. Not to mention the raise that goes along with it. The only bad part of it is I have to be out of the house by 4:45 am and ready to go pick up children by 5:45 am. But I will adjust.

Trash Shopping

About 4 weeks ago I found that one of my neighbors had thrown out a shelf that had several different compartments of different sizes. It was perfect for holding my stamps and papers and such. So I got my husband to help me retrieve it. I have it in my craft area and it is working nicely. Freed up alot of space for my other activity storage needs. I was a happy camper.

Stamp Camp Cards 3/14/08

Last Friday I went to Stafford to Greta's house for stamp camp. Here are some cards we made there. I really like this one. It was very easy to do and looks so inviting.
This one was very fun. You can never have to many bags. Another fun thing to do with your square and circle punches.

I really like this background stamp and it was fun to use all the brads.

I think this one is my favorite of the evening. I like the shadow image of the cross. I also like the embossed leaves on the cross. HE IS RISEN INDEED!!!

Wow Its Been A long Time

OMW it has been such a long time since I posted anything. Several months. I don't know what or why I haven't been able to post. Just busy I guess. Anyway I will be updating some things today. SO see ya around.
